Welcome to Happy Paws Doggy Day Care. In order to run a safe and efficient environment for all the dogs we need all our owners to adhere to our terms and conditions. By signing our admission form; you accept, understand and agree the following, which may be updated at any time:

• All dogs must be micro-chipped and wearing an ID tag with your current phone number on and address but not a name.
• All dogs must be at least 10 weeks old to attend Happy Paws
• All dogs must come for a trial day - this is charged at the normal rate
• All dogs must have a completed enrolment form with all necessary files uploaded on file before they can attend day-care.
• Not all dogs are suitable for day-care, so owners must consider that their dog may not be suited to the environment we offer.

• All dogs attending Happy Paws must be treated regularly for fleas, ticks and worms.
• All dogs must be up to date with current, recommended vaccinations and records must be uploaded for proof.
• It is the owner's responsibility to ensure the dog is of adequate health and fitness to attend day-care.
• Female dogs who come into season, may not be able to attend Happy Paws for the duration of their season (2-3 weeks).
• Male dogs who are not neutered may not be allowed to attend Happy Paws if they present behaviours affecting their own or another dogs well-being. 
• All dogs must be in good health and not sent to Happy Paws if showing any signs of conditions or illnesses that could potentially be contagious to other dogs.
• Happy Paws reserve the right to turn your dog away or send them home if we suspect any contagious illness.
• With any off lead environment, there is a risk to dogs security. We work hard to ensure that dogs get the greatest amount of fun, interaction and exercise while they are with us, and we operate as a free range daycare- meaning all dogs are off lead. Our daycare is totally secured by perimeter fencing, and all of our gateways are secured to prevent a dog getting out and into the open. It is extremely rare that a dog would climb or jump fences, but it is possible. 
• By sending your dog to Happy Paws, you accept these risks and agree not to hold us liable for any injury or loss resulting in escape. Should your dog escape, run off or get lost, we will do our absolute best to find them, and will contact you to let you know. If you believe your dog has any risk of jumping over or climbing up fences- please inform us so we can take appropriate steps. Staff are with dogs at all times so the risk of any escape is extremely low.

• All dogs must pass a behaviour assessment on their trial day.
• All dogs must be non aggressive and not toy or food possessive.
• Owners will be asked to certify their dog has never harmed or shown any aggressive or threatening behaviour to any other dog or person.
• Happy Paws reserve the right to turn away any dog showing unsuitable or aggressive behaviour.
• Please remember your dog will be spending time with other people's dogs in a kennel free environment and that their well-being and safety is our main priority.

• In the event your dog should fall ill or have an accident whilst at day-care, Happy Paws reserves the right take your dog to the vet, all charges of which will be passed on to the owner's account.
• Happy Paws takes great pride in the safety and care of all the dogs visiting, however they cannot be held responsible for any loss, accident, injury, illness or death caused to any dog in our care.

• We collect dogs between 8.30-10:00 am and drop home between 3:30-5.00pm. These timings are a guide only and must allow for traffic and other delays. 
• Our vans are professionally fitted with the highest quality cages and offer the safest way of transporting your dog- however vehicle transport always presents a small level of risk from collisions, doors opening and closing to put dogs in or out of a van which increases the risk of escape from the vehicle, being unloaded on a roadway etc. and due to being unattended in the rear of the vehicle when drivers are driving or picking up/ dropping off another dog or refuelling for example.
• You agree to allow us to transport your dog in any of our vans to any required location and agree to not hold Happy Paws liable for injury or death caused by a road traffic collision or incident involving our van or another vehicle at any time including when the dog is outside of our vehicle.
• Happy Paws must be able to gain access to your property to collect or return your dog in the event of you not being there so a key must be provided.

• Bookings and enquiries must be made through our online form.
• To avoid disappointment try to book day-care a week in advance to ensure we have a space for your dog. It is not always possible for us to accommodate your dog at the last minute, although we will always try our best.
• Cancellations must be made 24hrs prior to the booking otherwise full service fee will be charged.
• Please do not presume your booking is cancelled if you have left a message. All cancellations have to be confirmed with a response.
• If you are taking your dog away on holiday or have time off and you do not need our services over that period, please give us a minimum of 2 weeks notice.
• If you no longer need our services we also require a minimum of 2 weeks notice. Failure to do so will mean we will charge you 2 weeks worth of your monthly bill.
• We do not work weekends, so weekend care is subject to our availability.

• All customers must agree to our rates.
• Our prices are fixed prices for everyone.
• Pick up and drop off included in the daily rate.
• For a second dog from same household we offer a 25% discount.
• For any dog joining us for 3+ days a week, we offer a 10% discount for each full week completed.
• Only one discount may be applied at any time.
• If you refer a friend, as a thank you we will discount 1 day of day care from your bill for each referral.

• Invoices are sent out at the end of each month, however we may send you an invoice if you have completed all your booking with us before the end of the month.
• We allow 5 working days for payment to be received after the invoice has been issued.
• Any late payments incur a late payment charge, which is 10% of your monthly bill and will be added onto the following months invoice.
• We do not accept cheques only cash or BACS.
